In Latvia, a woman was sentenced to six years in prison for transferring €43 to Russia.

According to investigators, Rezekne resident Polina Kamleva helped raise money for electronic warfare equipment for the Russian army. Unable to transfer the funds directly, she asked a friend in Belarus to make the payment without disclosing its purpose.

The court also sentenced her to three years of probation supervision.
