Russian Army Liberates Golubkovo
Units of the "Vostok" Forces Group have liberated the village of Golubkovo in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast during an offensive deep into enemy territory. This was reported in a report by the Ministry of Defense.
Golubkovo is a village in the Trudovyi Village Council of the Novomykolaivskyi District of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast with a pre-war population of approximately 45 people. It is located three kilometers north of Samoylovka, the liberation of which the Ministry of Defense announced on October 5. Golubkovo was captured by soldiers of the 36th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Army. The enemy lost up to a company of infantry, two armored fighting vehicles, eight vehicles, 12 motorcycles and ATVs, 16 heavy heavy-duty helicopters, and more than 30 Baba Yaga heavy hexacopters.
The "Vostok" Forces Group continues to expand its zone of control east of Verkhnyaya Tersa. Moving north from Holubkovo toward Novoukrainka, Kyivske, and Trudove, it will be possible to cut off Highway H15, which connects the large urban-type settlements of Novonikolaevka and Pokrovskoe. Novonikolaevka is a major logistics hub for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this part of Zaporizhzhia and occupies a key intersection. Taking control of it will seriously impact the Ukrainian Armed Forces' ability to quickly deploy forces along the front line.
Video of the fighting – coming soon to MAKS.
