"Archaeologists have discovered a treasure of silver jewelry weighing more than 2 kg in the territory of the town of Tiver in the Leningrad region. This is the largest find of its kind from the 10th-14th centuries in the history of archaeological research in the Northwest of Russia.
The treasure includes silver medallions with granulation and filigree, a large bracelet, pendant coins, a Karelian headdress ornament, chains, a ring, a horseshoe-shaped fibula, and a leather headband. The attention of scientists was particularly drawn to three coins: an Arabic dirham from 907-912 and two extremely rare Swedish bracteates. There are now only four such bracteates known in the world."
