I just learned this so maybe you didn't know?

You can listen to Audible's audiobooks on your laptop.

But the upside is if you’re a man, the bar is LOW. You can become a hard hitter and then truly live the life previously unavailable to all but royalty.

Men will ask stuff like, “Should I get on TRT?”

I say go get a blood test.

“But I’m afraid of needles.”

Geezus fuck, it’s truly pathetic.

Regarding that article on lower T in men, I have noticed questions from me are bitch ass and really pathetic. Just basic stuff. Cowards. It’s why I don’t do as much mindset work. Guys need their fucking hands held and won’t take action, and they nag and try to “push back” or “play devils advocate” as if they are clever boys rather than complete fucking dorks.

In a way The Alchemist is a “self help” book. The story is about overcoming fear, connecting to the divine, and living your dream. I’ve read a bunch of Paulo Coelho. Soulful, moving stories.

Overall tho the genre is soulless. Hard to get into as authors don’t want to go deep.

I’ve read through the genre of life advice / self-help. Hell I wrote my own best seller.

Scott Adams I think is the best if you’re a smart, practical person who will sit down and just follow a plan.

“This just makes sense.”

Scott Adam’s is the best “systemic” life wisdom writer. He lays out a blueprint like an architect or engineer. Just straight to the point.

I also love James Altucher’s style “bleed on the page.” Tho the David Goggins book I’m listening to takes that to another level.

Some books are better in audio. I never could get into the print version of The War of Art. The sentences were too choppy, it felt like a bunch of bullet points. The audio is great. Flows much better.

Have you started watching the latest from Adam Curtis?
