Automakers are LEFT WITHOUT new cars — the world has entered the strongest shortage of fresh models in recent years.

From 2026 to 2028, companies will update only about 9% of their model ranges compared to the usual 14%. The reason is that manufacturers spent billions on electric cars, demand turned out to be weaker than expected, and now they urgently have to return to hybrids and gasoline cars.

Dealers are already complaining that buyers do not want to get the same car again, just more expensive. The normal flow of new products, according to analysts, will only recover in a few years.
