For sale is the lowest Land Rover in the world — so low that it can't even go over a standard speed bump.

In fact, this is a crazy custom based on a 1968 Volkswagen Beetle: the chassis has been shortened, a Land Rover Series III body has been installed on top, air suspension has been added, and 17-inch Porsche wheels have been fitted. At the back, there is a 1.6-liter flat-four engine from the Volkswagen Type 2.

The project is being offered for £15,000 (€17,000).

Porsche 911 has been deprived of its signature flat-six and replaced it with an American V8 from Chevrolet.

The swap turned out to be not as technically insane as it seems: the aluminum V8 is compact and may even be lighter than some of the original Porsche engines.

Under the hood of the custom 911 is a 6.2-liter LS3—these engines were installed in the Corvette.

A real wooden Ford — a rare 1946 Super Deluxe Station Wagon with a Woodie body — is up for sale in the USA.

Ford used to employ such cars for transporting passengers and luggage from train stations, and the wooden body elements were handcrafted. This particular specimen has preserved its original body and interior, but the technical parts have been recently restored.

Under the hood is a 3.9-liter V8 with a three-speed manual transmission. Currently, the 80-year-old Ford is offered for just €8,500 (₽710,000), but the bidding is still ongoing.
