Dahlings! On September 19th,
Lachers' Jiwoo &
Dahl's Ryul finally got to celebrate their birthdays together. Jiwoo's birthday was on September 7th, followed by Ryul's on September 18th, and we've actually been planning to celebrate together for quite a while. We were supposed to have a nice dinner, get a birthday cake, and take some pictures for an Instagram update. But when the day finally came, things didn't exactly go as planned.
Lachers' Jiwoo was already in a rush because she hadn't finished getting ready, so she ended up doing her makeup in
Dahl's Ryul car and leaving the whole thing looking like a mini makeup room. And then came the perfume incident.
Lachers' Jiwoo apparently decided that smelling good wasn't enough, so she proceeded to apply perfume as if she were preparing to personally fumigate the entire car. A few sprays? Absolutely not. At that point, it was basically a whole bucket. When we finally arrived at the restaurant, we found out there wasn't even a reservation because
Dahl's Ryul had accidentally picked the wrong date. :)
And whose fault was that? Unfortunately,
Dahl's Ryul. So the carefully imagined fancy birthday dinner slowly disappeared before our eyes. With the original plan officially falling apart, we decided not to make things more complicated. No fancy dinner, no perfectly arranged birthday setup, and no grand celebration like we had initially imagined. Instead, we ended up getting a simple cake, finding a more casual restaurant, having some good food, and making the most out of what was left of the day.
