Feds allege they have arrested a "lord" within a national voting fraud operation which was farming massive votes from the homeless in Skid Row.
Known in the organization as "Lord", black political activist James Brass was a local leader in a voting fraud operation stretching from California to Florida with six so far charged. The Observer notes that while some of Lord's co-conspirators have been charged, the higher level "coordinators" who financed the operation through shadowy "petition management" companies have not been named nor have their companies.
The "companies" themselves did not operate for profit, rather they paid the homeless to register and vote, oftentimes with multiple names. The source of the late night mail-drops in Los Angeles appears to be uncovered, but the feds may be running into a political firewall as they attempt to uncover which high level financiers and Democratic Party operatives are the masterminds.
