Access: Recap

A lot has changed since the last snapshot.

More and more strong communities are choosing the tool to shape their groups.

Current stats:

– 2K active chats (+233%)
– 49K members connected (+96%)

Among the largest by asset value: Dogs Premium Holders, Pixel Strategy Whales, Snoop X BAYC Club, Groypers and $BUILD Diamond Hands.

Meanwhile, the technical side keeps evolving to make ownership verification stable and the flow seamless for both admins and members.

$BUILD is still in its early stage, where we are setting up contests for builders and shipping the first tools to the public.

The idea is to build an economy from real usage of valuable tools, similar to $HYPE and others (very few tho) that managed to create sustainable tokenomics.

At this stage, $BUILD have around 19k holders that got tokens via @earn, developer contests and the open market.

Once we prove the revenue -> buyback model works, we are going to shape the tokenomics which would actually work long term. Doing it too early might ruin the whole thing so we are not rushing with it.

For now, the best indicator of our progress is the consistency of launching contests, developing and shipping tools, and growing the user base, despite of the “bear market” and an overall silence across other projects in crypto, TON and Telegram

Ads Marketplace Contest — Results & Insights

50+ submissions received.

We reviewed every entry: manual code review, product testing, and AI-assisted codebase analysis.

The spread was wide — from empty repos to solid MVPs.

Common issues we found:

1. Channel Stats

In our view, the best approach for channel analytics is MTProto’s method stats.getBroadcastStats — it gives you subscribers, avg views, Premium ratio, language breakdown, growth charts, all from one call. That said, we were open to other original solutions that could reliably deliver the same data — as long as the implementation was your own, not a call to an external analytics API.


In practice, most submissions claimed «verified channel stats» but only called getChatMemberCount via Bot API — which gives you subscriber count and nothing else.

2. Payments and Escrow

The most common area of weakness. Most projects did integrate with TON in some form, but the implementation quality varied a lot.

Some of the recurring issues:
– All deals sharing one wallet with no fund isolation — one security breach and everything is compromised
– Fund release and refund operations that aren’t safe to retry — if the service crashes mid-process, funds can be sent twice or never sent
– No locks or atomicity in background workers handling payments — race conditions leading to duplicate transactions
– Transaction verification that doesn’t actually check the blockchain

In general, any operation involving money needs to be designed for the worst case: crashes, retries, concurrent calls. This applies also to ad posting, not just escrow.

Some of these are understandable in an MVP context, but they still influenced how we evaluated the submissions.

3. Broken demos

Some demos weren’t functional, and self-deploy instructions were missing or incomplete. In those cases, hands-on product testing wasn’t conducted.

4. Overengineered Flows

Surprisingly common. Many projects added unnecessary complexity on top of the core deal flow – extra entities, extra verification steps, approval stages, duplicated logic. In some cases, both sides had to create separate entities before a deal could even start. Simpler would have been better.

5. AI-Generated Code Without Review

Nothing wrong with using AI as a development tool — most strong submissions did. The issue is when AI generates 90–100% of the code and no one reviews the result. Several projects had that pattern: boilerplate architecture, identical comments, extremely long and overcomplicated functions, code that doesn’t actually work when you run it. AI can speed things up significantly, but it shouldn’t fully replace the work of developer.

Access just received a major update that introduces a global ranking of active chats.

With members up by about 47% and chats up by around 50% over the past week, this is a good moment to look at the latest changes.

Among the most active communities are Pudgy Penguins, Chimpers, Doodles, 8 Club, Teddie and other holder-based groups.

A consistent flow of verified entries keeps them at the top of the activity ranking.

Asset Value

The global ranking can be filtered by two parameters: the number of users and the Asset Value (TVL).

This parameter shows the economic weight of a gated space by reflecting how much users hold to access a chat, helping compare how different groups perform.

Idea Contest: Key Insights

The contest helped us understand what kinds of tools could make the Telegram experience more productive and easier to use.

Many submissions pointed to the same needs: simple transparent tools, better ways to manage information, and lightweight utilities for creators, teams and personal workflows.

A compact tool for real-time token price alerts and market monitoring.

It helps users stay informed without getting lost in the message flow, delivering clear, timely updates directly inside Telegram.

2nd Place - Ad Marketplace for Telegram Channels

A native marketplace that connects creators and advertisers.

It simplifies channel monetization by reducing manual work, adding transparency and removing the trust issues common in current ad deals.

3rd Place - Simple Mini-App Stores

Two winners proposed similar tools for easy, no-code creation of mini-app shops.

These ideas support creators by making it simple to sell digital goods, handle payments and distribute content without external platforms.
