🔥🔥🔥 Ripple is reportedly pushing to add native yield for stablecoins directly on the XRP Ledger through the new XLS-30d proposal.
✔️ If approved, stablecoins like USDC and PYUSD on XRPL could start generating yield without needing external staking platforms, bridges, or third-party protocols. Yield would reportedly be distributed directly onchain through the ledger itself.
Honestly this is pretty interesting for DeFi infrastructure. The market is slowly moving toward simpler and more integrated yield systems where users don’t need to constantly move assets between platforms just to earn something on idle stablecoins. Of course, higher yield still doesn’t automatically mean lower risk. Issuer reliability, protocol security, and sustainability still matter a lot. But overall it feels like another sign that DeFi is becoming more focused on infrastructure and long-term usability instead of only short-term hype cycles.
That’s also why at BoBe we keep focusing on structured automation, stablecoin liquidity, and systems designed for more consistent execution over time 👀
