🏦 BITCOIN ETFs BLEED $484.9M IN ONE DAY
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs just posted their largest outflow session of October.
On October 7, the funds recorded approximately:
-$484.9 MILLION
in combined net flows.
Some of the biggest withdrawals came from:
• BlackRock IBIT: -$207.7M
• Fidelity FBTC: -$105.1M
• ARK 21Shares ARKB: -$101.7M
• Grayscale GBTC: -$39.3M
• Bitwise BITB: -$27.6M
The reversal is sharp.
Just one day earlier, the ETF group recorded:
+$118.8M
in net inflows.
Important:
One bad ETF session does NOT automatically mean institutional demand for Bitcoin has disappeared.
ETF flows can swing significantly from day to day.
But the timing matters.
The withdrawals arrived as Bitcoin was breaking lower under heavy pressure from:
• Rising Treasury yields
• A stronger dollar
• Higher oil prices
• Leveraged liquidations
And BlackRock's IBIT alone saw more than $200 million leave the fund.
Yesterday institutional buyers stepped in.
One session later, almost half a billion dollars moved the other way.
ETF demand has become volatile again.
