📉 BITCOIN BREAKS BELOW $83K AS OIL AND YIELDS KEEP RISING
Bitcoin has broken below another key support level.
BTC fell to just under:
$82,800
during Thursday's Asian session.
The move comes after Bitcoin already lost the $84,000 level earlier this week.
At the same time:
• Brent crude moved above $102
• U.S. 10-year yield climbed toward 5.31%
• The dollar remains near an 18-month high
• Roughly $550M in leveraged crypto positions were liquidated
Most of those liquidations came from traders positioned for higher prices.
The macro pressure is coming from several directions at once.
Higher oil prices increase inflation risk.
Higher inflation can keep the Federal Reserve restrictive.
Higher Treasury yields increase the return available outside risk assets like Bitcoin.
Important:
The $83,000 area had already been identified as a major short-term support zone.
Bitcoin has now broken below it.
Analysts at FxPro said losing that level could open a relatively quick path toward:
$80,000
That does NOT mean $80K is guaranteed.
But the market structure has clearly weakened.
Bitcoin now needs to reclaim the low-$83K area quickly — or the next psychological battle could happen at $80,000.
