The sector is currently on a steady path of development. The security of the pharmaceutical market is ensured by 50 specialized enterprises and nearly 4.000 pharmacies. Over the last five years, more than 350 new drugs have been introduced, with over 55 medicines reaching the market this year alone. A constant priority remains the enhancement of product quality control. The industry also makes a significant contribution to the development of exports.
