New trading chart view is now live on the Based Mobile App

You can now toggle between Pro Mode (powered by trading view) and Lite Mode (built by the Based team), so you can trade with the interface that fits your style.

Pro Mode - Full TradingView experience with advanced charting and all trading tools.

Lite Mode - Cleaner UI, smoother performance, and a more native mobile trading experience.

Following Hyperliquid’s frontend update, we will be removing $XMR1 from both the Based mobile app and the Based web terminal to protect our Based users against potential security issues.

$XMR1 carries custodial risk because it is a centralized IOU fully reliant on a single anonymous developer as the counterparty who controls the underlying XMR reserves.

Both XMR/USDC (Hyperliquid) and XMR/USDH (FLX) are still available for trading on our platforms.

Over the past week, you shared your New Year Resolutions for us.

Features, ideas, hopes and thoughtful nudges on how we can simply be, the most Based version of us. Thank you for showing up and once again reminding us about why we do what we do.

Our #BasedNewYear campaign is now officially closed but the job's not finished.

We started 2026 by listening and now, we continue by building. We really loved what was communicated to us and some of these ideas will be the starting points of new verticals in our long-term roadmap.

Excited to be building Based together with you.

Emissions for gold for trading & PUP has been distributed already; no more Gold will be distributed for these 2 categories.

Prediction market gold will be distributed tomorrow when the epoch ends.

Everything will go on as per normal.

As we wrap up Season 2 of Gold farming, with an end date of 3rd January, we are fast approaching an inflection point for the future of Based. The time has come to not only reward our loyal users, but also for our team to craft a token experience unique to us.

With immediate effect, Season 2 Gold will no longer be distributed.

$BASED will be launched within Q1 of 2026, and the Based team will be focusing efforts on items that are key for launch in the meantime. Efforts have been made to sift through trading records to identify Based-aligned users.
