Introducing Privacy TWAP

It is a challenge for size traders to trade on Hyperliquid using normal TWAPs as it tends to broadcast their full position sizing. This is why such traders tend to use specialized desktop terminals that not only obfuscates their trade sizing, but also stick to tools that do not front-run them.

Based's Privacy TWAP changes the game on Hyperliquid:

🔸 Orders are executed fully client-side (inside the user’s desktop client).
🔸 No one, not even us as the trading terminal can frontrun or see your execution path.
🔸 This makes TWAP execution completely private.

Trade with size, trade with confidence on Based.

Stay Based.

The first-ever trading competition has officially concluded! 🏁
Based on total eligible volume, a $14,500 prize pool will be distributed.

🎉 Congratulations to all participants and a special shoutout to the Top 10 winners, who will be receiving their share of USDC directly in their Hypercore wallets within the next 24 hours.

We have over 200 Participants and since this is the first ever competition, we will be gifting $50 EACH to participants ranked 11 to 20.

Stay tuned for the next round. Refer to the ROI Methodology below

ROI Methodology

Our system calculates a time-weighted average account value to prevent competition gaming. Here's how:

1. Collects account snapshots from user registration through competition end using Hyperliquid's portfolio API
2. Calculates time-weighted average by measuring how long the account stayed at each value level
3. Uses the formula: ROI = (PnL / Time-Weighted Average) × 100

This prevents traders from:
- Depositing large amounts right before snapshot times
- Gaming with tiny starting balance
- Withdrawing funds strategically to inflate percentages
