ATLETA’s slashing mechanism promotes honesty and penalizes validators for misbehavior. All to render compliant with decentralization, security, fairness 💡

When validators act irresponsibly, they may lose a portion of their stake:

• 0.1% slash: minor lapses, brief unresponsiveness;
• 1% slash: repeated minor issues, missing confirmations, isolated equivocation;
• 10% slash: serious misconduct, software tampering, collusion;
• 100% slash: actions threatening security, chain splits, exhausting system resources, colluding with others.

⚡️ Slashed tokens move to temporary escrow. Validators have 7 days to challenge the slash. If no valid defense, funds get to the treasury for community decisions.

🔐 Denied/Withdrawn Proposals: You’ll need to wait for a minimal cooldown period of 403,200 blocks (around 14 days) before submitting your proposal if your current one is denied or withdrawn.

💡 Approved Proposals: You must wait until your idea is fully executed before suggesting a new one if your proposal is approved.
