🌐 Bonding vs. Staking: What's the Difference?

Both bonding and staking involve locking up assets as collateral, but they serve slightly different purposes:

🔒 Staking
The process of locking up tokens to secure the network, participate in governance, or earn rewards.

Staking usually allows users to unlock their assets at any time (with a small unbonding period).

🔗 Bonding
Locking tokens with a specific purpose, often tied to governance or network operations, say becoming a validator in ATLETA Network.

Bonded assets come with an activation delay before they become active.
