This is an actual tactic of subversion even used by the old
KGB against other countries.
Remove anything beautiful, inspiring, motivating, or giving your own culture pride.
Replace it all with ugly things that pushes people away and makes outsiders look at your culture amd people with distaste.
This is not an accident or natural digression, "they" are doing this on purpose.
