I'm proud to share that I won a Gold Medal and placed 1st overall at the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI), becoming the Absolute Winner of the competition.

IOAI brought together talented students from around the world to solve challenging problems in machine learning, algorithms, and mathematical modeling.

What made the competition particularly interesting was the nature of the tasks. They were much closer to real research problems than to standard textbook exercises: there was no single obvious approach, and success depended on experimentation, careful validation, technical knowledge, and the ability to make good decisions under time pressure.

This result came after a long period of focused preparation. Over the past four years, I have spent a great deal of time studying machine learning, working on practical problems, and competing on Kaggle, where I earned the title of Kaggle Competitions Master. Winning IOAI feels like a meaningful culmination of that work—and, at the same time, a reminder of how much there is still to learn and explore.

It was an honor to represent Russia, and I’m grateful to my coaches, teachers, teammates, family, and everyone who supported me throughout the preparation.
