Artem’s road to AGI 🚀

Совсем недавно было 1 сентября, а значит, начался новый учебный год.

Это мой последний учебный год в школе. Надеюсь, в этом году удастся достичь всех поставленных целей и задач, а может быть, и чего-то большего :)

Pavel Durov congratulated me on my victory in his personal Telegram channel and announced that the Intelligence Cups for IOAI winners would be distributed throughout this week.

So far, three gifts from the collection - one of each model - have already been upgraded by participants from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿. The gifts are currently being delivered in their non-upgraded form, and upgrading them is free.

For participants' safety and privacy, the Owner field on the gift cards currently displays "IOAI 2026 Winner" instead of their profile information.

The Telegram team is continuing to improve the system to make the entire process as safe and secure as possible.

I'm proud to share that I won a Gold Medal and placed 1st overall at the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI), becoming the Absolute Winner of the competition.

IOAI brought together talented students from around the world to solve challenging problems in machine learning, algorithms, and mathematical modeling.

What made the competition particularly interesting was the nature of the tasks. They were much closer to real research problems than to standard textbook exercises: there was no single obvious approach, and success depended on experimentation, careful validation, technical knowledge, and the ability to make good decisions under time pressure.

This result came after a long period of focused preparation. Over the past four years, I have spent a great deal of time studying machine learning, working on practical problems, and competing on Kaggle, where I earned the title of Kaggle Competitions Master. Winning IOAI feels like a meaningful culmination of that work—and, at the same time, a reminder of how much there is still to learn and explore.

It was an honor to represent Russia, and I’m grateful to my coaches, teachers, teammates, family, and everyone who supported me throughout the preparation.

Many thanks to the organizers for creating a competition that was both challenging and genuinely interesting.
