From Sunny California to Latvian Snowdrifts:

Arcona Core undergoes the "white noise" test ❄️

We’ve moved from theory to rigorous field testing. Here is our journey over the past month:

1. Lab Success: In January, we tested our algorithms in California (as seen on the monitor).

The result: 48 key points (where the norm is 20). The system "locked onto" the object and wouldn't let go.

2. Field Challenge: This past weekend, we deployed at the ruins of Ludza Castle (Latvia).

Conditions: knee-deep snow and walls completely covered in white "camouflage."

Results of the extreme conditions test:

• ✅ Accuracy: GPS positioned the fortress with a margin of error of just 1 meter.

• ✅ Stability: Zero drift. The digital layer aligned perfectly with the real-world layout.

• ❌ The Nuance: While the system was actively scanning the walls, "recognition" did not occur.

Why did this happen?

It turns out Computer Vision perceives the world differently than we do.

To a human, snow on a wall is just a few patches.

To a neural network, the snow turned the texture into a "negative," effectively erasing the familiar key points the system relies on.

The Verdict:

The test is a success! We are already preparing the mobile app release in time for the summer tourist season.

We are currently fine-tuning the algorithms to ensure Arcona can see through any blizzard or sandstorm.
