Raw milk used to just be called milk.
Untill
Pasteurization supposedly extends shelf life, destroys bacteria but also beneficial enzymes and nutrients.
To make a gallon of milk a cow pumps 600~800 gallons of blood through her udder.
No surprise milk offers many nutritional benefits:
>high calcium balances out phosphor from things like meat and grains
>34grams protein per liter
>51grams of carbs per liter
>protects against stress
>raw milk contains fat and water soluble vitamins
>minerals
>raw milk contains important enzymes
I think pasteurized milk can be good, but raw milk is supreme.
But even raw the crucial matter is whether it's from grass fed, pasture raised, healthy cows or not and clean.
Raw, unlike pasteurized does not give me massive diarrhea.
If you have trouble with pasteurized milk, give raw milk a try.
