Happy Mabon witches. 🖤🍂🌙

As the wheel turns and autumn gathers beneath the moon, I find myself returning to an old piece of mine "The Lament of The Beneviento" published a year ago by Level Ground Comics in their "Torches: Fires That Fuel Change" anthology.

This work was inspired by the janare of Benevento, the witches of Southern Italian folklore whose legend became entwined with the great walnut tree said to have stood along the banks of the Sabato.

Benevento has a particularly fascinating history with witchcraft and the old gods. The cult of Isis, the Egyptian goddess of the moon, once flourished there, and Emperor Domitian is said to have erected a temple in her honour. Within this tradition, Isis became associated with a divine trinity alongside Hecate (fellow Hecate devotee here), goddess of the underworld, and Diana, goddess of the hunt. Three figures intimately connected with magic, the moon, and the mysteries of the night.

I wanted to finish the other stuff I had of Moshfegh, but had to work on my final project for uni today; so I'm just gonna post these tonight

Moshfegh is a healer druid, studying beastiology and working on their postgrad thesis. they're usually very calm and polite, but after last night's session we found that they also get super snarky and sarcastic towards people they don't find respectable :D

خب اینم از نتیجش!!

تجربه جالبی بود با اینکه چشمی برام نموند
من انیماتور نیستم پس اونقدر توقع نداشته باشین ولی خوشگل شده حتما ببینین😔💛💛

✨ATTENTION MY FELLOW ARTIST!✨

For awhile now I've been thinking of drawing some fanarts for my fellow wonderful and talented artists!

I wanted to wait until I'm more comfortable with my own art but honestly fuck it, I decided to just jump in and do it!
And hey it will be good practice drawing new faces! X3

So if you want to participate, you can reply one of your OCs in your channel OR! if you don't have an art channel you can just drop your OC in the comments (I'll take good care of them I promise UwU)

I'm thinking of doing 2 sets for now but depending on how much this challenge give me artistic crisis that number might Change!

Speaking of redraw!
A few years back I decided to make headshots of all my existing OCs at the time. Recently I went back and Tried to redraw a few of those headshot for future references.

Hence this! If I had to describe these fellas I would say it's "whimsical children ready for adventure" at top and "the sound of impending doom" at the bottom.

I'm gonna be Honest I'm not really satisfied with my evolution, I have certainly improve in some aspect but I also feel like my old art had a quality to it that I simply lost.

This little exercise also got me thinking of a fun challenge that I can do to practice more efficiently and kick myself out of my comfort zone!!! }:3
More news coming soon! }:3

For starter this is a piece I did in-between my jhoujhman and final project, I wanted to challenge myself and see how much my art has improved since 2019.

This is Doran, their story has a very cyberpunk vibe to it so whenever I feel like using extremely sharp lighting and colors I draw them! X3
(As evidence by my channel profile lmfao)

Fun fact, I also realized the 2019 version of this drawing is the first thing I shared here so this turned out to be a fun parallel!

Wassup bitches and bros and non-binary hoes!

After a long final project, a longer konkour and even a longer post-konkour paperwork!
I'm proud to say that I'm indeed not alive!

But since uni is officially done (for now) I want to really try and make as many art pieces as I can in these following months. So please bear with me as I try not to disappear again!
