YLT
and saying, Reform, for come nigh hath the reign of the heavens,'βNotice modern versions add both the phrase "of your sins" into their versions after the word "repent". Also, notice that modern versions add unbiblical works-salvationism heresies into, and wickedly push and equate various works salvationisms (such as the famous, yet unbiblical works heresy of "turn from sins/repent of sins to be saved" with, the word repent/repentance.) Either you 100% trust the ressurrected Lord Jesus Christ to be saved, or you, along with modern versions, are trusting your constant, never-ending works that you do and you are not saved by your works. Satan/the Devil and many cults and false religions push the wicked, works salvation heresy and false teaching (for proof, see the VIDEO LINK) of "turn from sins/repent of sins to be saved" to decieve and convince many people to trust their works and go to hell, instead of only trust the Lord Jesus Christ (God the Son) came in the flesh, lived, died for all our sins, was buried, and rose again, alone for eternal salvation.
