The brain of action game gamers works faster than that of those who don't play.
The study involved 28 gamers and 19 non-gamers. They were given the task of determining the direction of movement of points on the screen.
The gamers coped faster, and their dorsal visual system, the area responsible for rapid orientation and decision—making, was more active.
