Among the notable features is a 30mm unmanned turret with HJ-16 ATGMs. The latest modernized version is also equipped with a fold-down ramp instead of the traditional Soviet-style side hinged door.

This post shows vehicles in desert camouflage — modernized Type-19s with the fold-down door, while the vehicles in green camouflage are the first generation with the traditional fold-down door.

Fold-down doors are a new feature of PLA armored vehicles, previously unseen on production models. They significantly improve convenience for heavily loaded infantry and unmanned equipment.

Of course, there is also a model with a 105mm assault gun, replacing the Type 11. This is a completely new family of 8x8 wheeled vehicles.
