The first photos have been released of South Korea's first test launch of a missile equipped with a hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV), conducted on October 8.

The weapon's specifications have not been disclosed.

The missile was launched from a floating platform at a test range in Taean, 130 km south of Seoul, operated by South Korea's Agency for Defense Development (ADD).
