⚡️🇹🇷🇮🇶 — NEW: Türkiye-Iraq joint statement says Türkiye will gradually hand over its Bashiqa-Zilkan military base to Iraq per an agreed timeline, in exchange for Iraq fully establishing state authority in Sinjar and removing banned foreign armed groups.

They also agreed to accelerate trade, investment, and the Development Road project.
