Condemnation of the Desecration of the Buraq Wall by Benjamin Netanyahu, the War Criminal
The Prime Minister of the Zionist occupation regime and war criminal – accompanied by a group of his ministers and settler leaders, under a massive military siege – stormed the Buraq courtyard and desecrated the tunnels beneath Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Old City of occupied Jerusalem was turned into a closed military barracks, and harsh repressive measures were imposed on our steadfast people.
We consider this action a blatant assault on Islamic sanctities and an insult to all Muslims and free people in the world.
- We remind Netanyahu and his gang that all the invaders and occupiers who passed through this pure land said the very same phrase that he boasts of from behind an armored glass barrier, but they all departed in humiliation, their kingdoms perished, and they were buried in the garbage dumps of history.
The cheap desecration show that Netanyahu led at the Buraq Wall is nothing but an "electoral photo op" through which he seeks to save his crisis-ridden political future, even at the cost of igniting a religious war that sets the region and the world ablaze.
We mourn with all pride and honor the heroic martyr who was martyred at the Jenin checkpoint, and we congratulate and salute the heroic martyrdom operation that struck the occupier today in Ramallah and Jenin. These striking arms that pounded the settlers' fortresses and killed one of them in Ramallah came to respond blow for blow and to prove to Netanyahu that desecrating our sanctities has a heavy price that his soldiers and settlers will taste, and that the blood of our heroes is the scale that restrains the arrogance of the occupier and foils its attempts to impose a new reality by force.
We express our revulsion at the absolute silence of the Arab and Islamic governments toward this direct provocation at one of the holiest sanctities of Muslims, while Netanyahu continues his war of genocide and the destruction of villages, cities, and towns in the steadfast Gaza Strip, the occupied West Bank, and southern sister Lebanon – which constitutes a cover for and partnership with the occupier in its crimes and its Judaization schemes.
We call on the masses of our proud nation and our people in Jerusalem and the occupied interior to move toward Al-Aqsa Mosque and to intensify the ribat and general mobilization in its courtyards to foil the Talmudic schemes. Jerusalem was and will remain the compass of the free and the address of dignity, and shame and disgrace upon the occupiers and their accomplices.
Al-Aqsa Mosque, with its walls, courtyards, and historic Buraq Wall, will remain the greatest witness to the failure of the Zionist colonial project in Palestine. The Islamic identity of Jerusalem, by the grace of our people's resistance and the steadfastness of those holding the line, will remain firmly established and impervious to being broken.
