❗️Women report more concern about AI than men

A survey of roughly 3,000 people across the US and Canada found a consistent gender gap in attitudes toward AI: women were more likely to view the technology as risky and were more skeptical of its benefits than men.

Researchers point to two possible factors:

• Risk orientation — women, on average, report greater caution toward uncertain or rapidly changing technologies.

• Risk exposure — women may perceive greater risks from AI-driven job displacement and economic disruption.

The researchers warn that ignoring these concerns could deepen existing inequalities and fuel resistance to AI adoption.
