📚 This subclade can be considered a Indo Iranian branch of the R-M417 haplogroup. The primary origin of this haplogroup's spread among Anatolian Turks is the Oghuz migrations, although a small percentage spread through Western Iranians.

📖 According to our database, the R-Z2124 haplogroup is found in varying proportions in different regions of Anatolia. The closest and most relevant finding is the R-Y2633 subclade found in a Anatolian Turk from Ankara / Çubuk. This Y-DNA is found not only in Anatolian Turks but also in nearly all Turkic populations.
