It is another announcement time, but about one-click hide tools (especially Specter). They forget to apply the owner permissions to the HMA-OSS config file (or whole folder), and the shell script applies root as owner. My module cannot be able to read, edit or delete the configuration in that condition. And the other issue is nobody checks the "Logs" screen, I show what is wrong there.
How to fix it? You can execute this command:
su -c chown system:system -R /data/misc/hide_my_applist\*Also, some one-click hide tools create a
hide_my_applist folder without a random suffix which causes another detection point. You should avoid one-click hide tools, you can restore a pre-made config through the "Restore config" option any time. This is the best way to change a config, I apply some fixes to the configs while it is restored.
Thank you for everything :)
