The network is presently experiencing a technical issue that has resulted in an interruption to block production. This unexpected challenge is our top priority and our technical team is working to identify and resolve the problem.

While we work to resolve the issue, we strongly advise all partners to temporarily halt any deposits or withdrawals on the network.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and support as we work through this challenge.

As you might be aware, our team has been rigorously testing the 9.3.0 candidate releases on the testnet in recent weeks. These updates have successfully passed our rigorous acceptance criteria, indicating we are nearing code completion. The current v9.2.5 network continues to operate effectively and stably. Our priority is to ensure a smooth and trouble-free upgrade to v9.3.0, particularly considering the timing around the holiday season.

Therefore, after careful consideration, we have decided to postpone the update to January 3rd. This extension will allow us additional time to ensure that miners and Staked Seed Node (SSN) operators can seamlessly integrate into the network. We encourage those who haven't yet utilized our miner rehearsal network to get in touch for access.

Additionally, we will provide access to our comprehensive internal rehearsal network for extended testing and conduct further performance assessments. We are committed to the January 3rd date for releasing v9.3.0, unless we encounter any critical issues.

We understand this change may impact your operations, so please do not hesitate to reach out if this poses any challenges for you. For those celebrating the holiday season, we wish you a joyful and restful time.

Two important proposals recently passed through Zilliqa's governance system, bringing major changes as we move towards a more flexible and efficient network.

gZIL holders voting overwhelmingly in favour of introducing active reward control to guard against inflation, as well as the removal of unnecessary shards ahead of the launch of an overhauled sharding architecture that will be available in Zilliqa 2.0.

This decentralised protocol allows users to lend and borrow tokens on Zilliqa and offers native support for popular EVM-based wallets like MetaMask.

The launch of Ionise is an exciting milestone in the growth of DeFi on the Zilliqa network, paving the way for a flourishing ecosystem of financial tools with integrated EVM compatibility.

Zilliqa Group has officially partnered with ChainUp, a leading enterprise blockchain company based in Singapore.

This collaboration will expand the Group's Web3 infrastructure offerings and boost the potential of its partnerships related to loyalty, gaming, tokenisation, and metaverse projects.
