"When an Idea Becomes a Story"
Sometimes a story starts with an image, a character, an event, a question, or even a simple thought. But how can we know if what we have in mind is really a story idea? And if it is, how can we find it, develop it, and turn it into a story?
During the workshop we will:
🟢explore what an idea needs in order to become a story;
🟢learn how to find raw and scattered ideas and reach the core of the story;
🟢define the main conflict, the characters and what they want;
🟢learn how to express the idea clearly and interestingly in one or two sentences as a premise or logline — the starting point for a story, novel, or film.
Together we will try to find that thought or idea that has been in your mind for a long time and bring it to the point where you can start writing it.
