It's a Python CLI tool that merges two or more fonts (any script, any language — TTF or OTF) into a single clean .ttf, handling all the messy compatibility work for you

⚙️ Auto OTF → TTF conversion — no more "CFF fonts not supported" errors
⚙️ Auto UPM scaling — fixes glyph size mismatches between fonts with different unitsPerEm
⚙️ Table normalization — patches the classic GSUB/vertical-metrics crashes that make pyftmerge throw TypeErrors
⚙️ Multi-font merging — chain as many fonts together as you want, not just two
⚙️ Optional Android XML generation — auto-creates a font-pack entry (DroidSans/DroidSans-Bold) if you're building a ROM font pack — fully optional, skip it if you don't need it
