I was navigating somewhere earlier with Google maps and I got to a point where I didn't need it anymore.

I said "Ok Google, stop navigation" which I've done a million times before. It took like five tries before the new Gemini assistant thing actually understood my request, and then it said "sorry I can't directly control your apps" and like I said this is something I've done many times before.

The technology is getting worse and less functional, how is that even possible? Literally all you had to do was leave alone what you had that worked decently already, but no you just had to add this new thing that can't even do what the old thing it's replacing could do.
