1. Deeper onchain liquidity on Solana
Building the foundation for real DeFi utility
Trading desks have deployed liquidity across key xStocks (like $SPYx, $QQQx, $TSLAx, $NVDAx, and $CRCLx) on Solana, helping the pool depth more than triple across these assets. This initiative unlocks higher LTV ratios on Kamino and reliable weekend liquidity.
In parallel, xStocks Data Streams by Chainlink are now publicly available, providing sub-second pricing and real-time corporate action verification. Together, deeper liquidity and reliable data give builders a shared foundation to construct on with confidence.
2. 0x integration on Ethereum
One API for xStocks
0x, one of the most widely used APIs in crypto powering over 521 projects, 211 million transactions, and $180 billion in volume, now supports xStocks on Ethereum. This means hundreds of integrated apps, including OKU Trade, Trust Wallet, and Bankr, can offer tokenized stocks and ETFs to their users through the same infrastructure they already run on.
For the broader Ethereum ecosystem, tokenized equities can now slot in as a native asset class rather than a separate integration to build around.
3. xStocks live on Ink
A new chain, more to come
xStocks are now live on Kraken's L2, Ink, accessible through Tydro, built with CoW Swaps.
The launch is just the start of a broader Ink integration, with more coming, including xStocks Perps on Nado, borrow and lend on Tydro, and xStocks Swap on Beholder. As each new development goes live, Ink becomes a richer environment for onchain equity activity.
4. xChange
Stock market liquidity, onchain
xChange is the new atomic swap engine for xStocks that connects DeFi to real stock market liquidity 24/5. When a user confirms a trade, market makers and solvers execute it in a single blockchain transaction, settling atomically with each xStock remaining fully backed by real shares at a regulated third-party custodian.
Investors can now access the full long tail of xStocks with real market size, putting retail and institutional traders on equal footing.
5. Talos integration
Tokenized equities in the institutional trading stack
xStocks are now fully supported on Talos, the premier institutional digital asset infrastructure provider used by over 50 exchanges, OTC desks, prime brokers, and lenders. This gives dozens of Talos clients direct access to trade xStocks on Kraken, with exchanges able to list them through existing APIs and market makers able to step in to provide liquidity, all with no new connectivity required.
Banks and retail platforms using Talos's white-label technology can now add xStocks to their offerings without additional infrastructure builds.
6. Nasdaq partnership
Connecting regulated markets with onchain networks
Powered by the xStocks framework, Payward and Nasdaq are building the equities transformation gateway, designed to let tokenized equities move between regulated, permissioned trading environments and permissionless DeFi networks. Payward will handle KYC and AML onboarding and serve as the primary settlement layer for Nasdaq equity token transactions during the initial period.
Nasdaq expects DLT-based services to become operational beginning Q1 2027.
7. xPoints
Rewards for the community building onchain capital markets
xPoints is a new incentives program designed to reward traders, liquidity providers, builders, and DeFi protocols contributing to xStocks ecosystem growth. As tokenized equities move toward global financial infrastructure, xStocks is building a more aligned, community-driven model to grow with it.
8. xStocks Hackathon
Building the next generation of xStocks apps
The inaugural xStocks Hackathon will run March 31 to April 2, 2026 during EthCC. Teams of up to 6 developers will compete across three tracks: borrow/lend, frontend, and automated strategy using Ethereum Smart Accounts. This is a landmark development for the expansion of xStocks on EVM.
