1. Franklin Templeton: tokenized assets meet institutional asset management
xStocks entered a strategic collaboration with Franklin Templeton, pairing the firm's $1.74 trillion in AUM and tokenization expertise with Payward's onchain infrastructure, qualified custody, and access to institutional crypto liquidity via Kraken's OTC and Prime services. The two will explore launching actively managed investment products directly onchain, alongside co-designed tokenized yield products targeted first at institutional clients.
For the xStocks framework — now past $30B in cumulative transaction volume — this is a meaningful signal: one of the world's largest traditional asset managers building managed strategies natively onchain, with xStocks as the equity layer. Traditional finance and digital asset markets aren't converging in theory anymore. They're converging in product.
2. Bitget Wallet: self-custodied xStocks for 90M users
xStocks are now available in Bitget Wallet, giving the wallet's 90 million users self-custodied access to over 130 tokenized equities and ETFs. Each xStock remains 1:1 fully collateralized, with Payward's infrastructure underpinning issuance and redemption. Trades execute with zero fees and gasless settlement, alongside the 300+ assets already available in the wallet.
The integration extends xStocks further into the self-custody layer of the onchain economy. For Bitget Wallet users, tokenized U.S. equities now sit alongside crypto, commodities, and index-linked products in a single interface — accessible globally, without the brokerage and geographic frictions that have historically defined equity access.
3. xChange Atomic RFQ live on Mantle via Fluxion
Following the Mantle launch last month, xChange — xStocks's Atomic RFQ system — is now live on Fluxion, Mantle's native DEX. Users can mint and redeem xStocks tokens directly through a request-for-quote mechanism, bypassing AMM infrastructure for an issuer-direct channel with continuous price calculation during market hours and entry liquidity after close.
This is the second phase of the Mantle roadmap. Where the initial integration delivered access through Fluxion's hybrid AMM, Atomic RFQ closes the execution-quality gap that has historically kept institutional capital off-chain. Minting and redemption now flow natively through the chain, structurally deepening xStocks TVL and onchain liquidity on Mantle.
4. VIDAx: same-week tokenization following NYSE IPO
Vida Global (NYSE American: VIDA), an AI Agent Operating System for businesses, listed its tokenized equity on xStocks days after its initial public offering, broadening investor access across more than 110 countries worldwide.
The pattern matters. For most of capital markets history, a newly public company's shares were only accessible to investors with a brokerage account in the right jurisdiction. With $VIDAx, the same equity exposure becomes available globally, onchain, within days of the listing event. xStocks is increasingly serving as primary issuance infrastructure — not just a secondary venue for established names, but a distribution layer alongside the IPO itself.
5. Ecosystem milestone: $30B+ in cumulative transaction volume
xStocks has surpassed $30 billion in cumulative transaction volume across its tokenized equity products, with assets under management approaching $350 million and more than 100,000 onchain holders. The framework continues to lead tokenized equities by transaction activity, with $STRCx now the largest individual xStock at over $75M in AUM.
The macro picture moved in lockstep this month: tokenized equities hit a record $3.57 billion in single-day trading volume, and the broader RWA market crossed $65 billion in total value. Tokenized equities are no longer a thesis.
