🎁 The sun is rising, gifts are blooming
GMGM, collectors!
The holiday rush has settled, the ladies received their gifts, and as per tradition, we are summing up the week in the Telegram gifts market. Over the past seven days, the market not only cleared out anomalous trades nicely but also showed healthy organic movement. We are back with a new report.
🎁 The crash illusion
If you look at the raw numbers, it might seem like volumes crashed by 30%, from 5.98M to 4.18M TON. However, don't panic: last week was heavily skewed by anomalous 99,999 TON trades. Thus, the real organic volume remained stable at around 4.2M TON with 273,000 transactions, and the average trade size leveled out at 15.3 TON.
🌸 The International Women's Day effect
• The most delicate collections got a great boost, and the market avoided a harsh post-holiday dump, unlike what happened on February 14th.
• Flowers for everyone: Pretty Posy added +16% to its floor. On International Women's Day, the number of daily trades jumped from 264 to 1,081, and the supply grew by 1,932 items.
• Record of the week: Whip Cupcake hit an absolute all-time high in mints (+2,511), and the average trade price momentarily skyrocketed from 4.39 to 11.47 TON. Someone was clearly stocking up on cupcakes for their loved one.
• Men's classics are keeping up: Vintage Cigar confidently gained +10.2%, crossing the 35.24 mark. Many have been waiting for this gift's return, right?
• Leprechauns woke up in anticipation of St. Patrick's Day — traders have already started accumulating Clover Pin, which has already pumped 6.5%.
🐰 The drop was inevitable
• Top Hat broke its long uptrend. After two green weeks, the hat reversed and lost -11.3% in price.
• Heart Locket predictably went into a minor correction of -7.1%. The market is calmly and steadily digesting that aggressive sweep from March 4th.
• No more need for mushrooms? Spy Agaric followed the hearts and Sky Stilettos. The collections lost -13.2% and -8.2% in price, respectively.
🐸 The frog paradox
The heavyweight Plush Pepe is falling for the fifth consecutive week — the floor has already dropped to 6,714 TON (-7.8% for the week and almost -26% for the month). Seems like holders should be sweating? It's not that simple: the entire top 20 largest trades this week are Pepes. Whales are methodically sweeping rare attributes on the dip and strengthening their positions. Smart money buying the bottom?
It's been an eventful week, and the community is holding its breath waiting for new upgrades. Torches, backpacks, flamingos, and other fresh upgrades will appear in our @xgift bot as soon as they drop. Are you ready to level up?
