I am working with Brendan Heard from Aureus Press who will be helping out as the art director on the project.

We will be employing several of the best artists from our spheres to create an RPG that has an old school aesthetic.

This is something I've been evolving since I was about 16 years old (I'm now 39).

Character creation takes 5 minutes. Combat is fast, tactical and deadly. And if you survive, you write the story of your world as you play.

No classes. No magic. No fantasy races.

You will die without armor.

All you really need to play is paper, a pencil and 4D6.

No settings. You are the worldbuilder. Go crazy drawing maps, naming kingdoms and inventing religions and cultures.

Be a lesser noble carrying out schemes of court intrigue, run a blacksmith's guild, be a pirate, become a monk after a life as a street urchin.

Quickstart a one-shot dungeon crawl. Or play for years as the Lord of a fief waging castle sieges and naval battles.

I'll be posting here about what happens in my sessions as well as funny or interesting comments in the chat/replies.
