About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Time Series Analyst to join an ongoing project in the energy forecasting domain. Your primary focus will be analyzing sequential data, identifying patterns, and developing predictive models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data ingestion, cleansing, and normalization on high-frequency time-series data
- Identify and extract seasonal patterns, long-term trends, and irregular anomalies
- Develop, train, and validate short-term and medium-term forecasting models
- Assess model accuracy using statistical metrics such as MAE, RMSE, and MAPE
- Provide comprehensive documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and performance results
Must-Have Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
- Proven experience in time-series forecasting across classical methods (Prophet, ARIMA, Statsmodels) and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TFT, DeepAR, N-BEATS, Transformers)
- Solid understanding of stationarity, autocorrelation, lag features, and rolling window analysis
- Solid command of SQL for data extraction and preprocessing
- Strong analytical rigor with attention to data integrity and model validation
Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of LLMs applied to anomaly detection or pattern recognition in sequential data
- Domain experience in energy, electricity consumption, or smart meter infrastructure
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau for time-series dashboards
Work Conditions:
