Role: Technical Founding Member / Lead Developer (100% Remote)

Our startup is building a cognitive measurement ecosystem for medical education, recently accepted into a Technopark. As a medical doctor-led startup, we are looking for a technical partner to own the backend architecture and algorithmic implementation.

Funding & Valuation: Our project is structured under an Investment Program in Türkiye, which provides 1.35M TL in exchange for 3% equity of the startup. This establishes a solid post-money valuation for the company.

Pre-funding Salary: 25,000 TL / month

Post-funding Salary: 50,000 TL / month (Effective immediately upon investment transfer)

Equity: 1% initial vesting, scaling up to 3% total based on milestone achievements (Architecture setup + Algorithmic integration)

Relocation & Legal Support: This position is open to Iranian nationals. We value the high-tier engineering talent coming from the region. We are committed to providing full administrative support and guidance for the Turkish Residency and Work Permit application process. This support will be initiated immediately upon securing the 1.35M TL investment and the formal incorporation of the startup.
Note: You can always work 100% remote. Relocation assisstance is optional.

Focus: AI-Driven Adaptive Learning (IRT & Spaced Repetition)

What We Expect:

You will be the "Technical Architect" of a platform that scales globally.

Collaborate directly with our Medical and Biotech experts to implement Item Response Theory (IRT) models.

Develop a robust, scalable backend capable of real-time "Theta Score" calculations and Spaced Repetition scheduling.

Design a system that selects the next question in milliseconds based on the student's real-time ability estimation.

1. Algorithmic Mastery: FSRS-5 & IRT
FSRS-5 Implementation: Lead the integration of the FSRS-5 (Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler) algorithm to maximize long-term retention.

DSR Model Optimization: Work on "Stability, Difficulty, and Retrievability" (DSR) parameters to create a personalized memory model for each student.

Hybrid Integration: Collaborate with our experts to hybridize FSRS-5 data with Item Response Theory (IRT)Theta scores to build a multidimensional adaptive testing engine.


2. Backend & Performance

Python (FastAPI/Django): Develop high-performance asynchronous endpoints to calculate next repetition intervals in real-time.

Mathematical Computing: Leverage NumPy and SciPy for custom adjustments to FSRS-5 weight parameters based on medical-specific curricula.


3. Data Architecture & Scalability

Primary Database: PostgreSQL for robust management of hierarchical medical tagging and clinical metadata.

In-Memory Storage: Redis for low-latency fetching of the next adaptive question.

Data Integrity: Implement encryption and anonymization for medical student data in compliance with KVKK/GDPR.


4. Frontend & Infrastructure

Interface: Flutter or React Native for mobile; React.js for academic dashboards.

Visualization: Use D3.js or Chart.js to visualize complex learning curves and competency distributions.

DevOps: Docker for environment consistency and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

Cloud: Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud for global scalability.
