In like any other race - you are on you own. So play it smart by creating your own entry point.
These tips come straight from our very own Vero — Talent Acquisition Specialist at BeInCrypto. She’s helped dozens of people break into Web3, and now she’s sharing exactly how to land an internship in 2025:
What even is a Web3 internship?
It's a short-term, often remote, project-based experience at a crypto, blockchain, or NFT company. You help out on real projects; they mentor you.
It’s ideal for students, junior professionals, or Web2 folks making the leap.
Some lead to full-time offers. Others don’t. But all of them build your career capital.
Where to find them? Start with these:
1️⃣ BeInCrypto Jobs Board
2️⃣ CryptoJobsList
3️⃣ Web3.career
4️⃣ AngelList
5️⃣ Discord servers of DAOs
6️⃣ Telegram groups
7️⃣ X (Twitter) — follow founders & hiring leads
Best-kept secret? Don’t wait for an opening.
Message hiring managers directly.
Yes — skip recruiters.
Yes — cold DMs.
Say:
“Hi [Name], I saw you’re working on [X]. I’ve been learning [Y] and would love to contribute. I’m actively looking for an internship and would be thrilled to learn from your team.”
Applying to an open internship?
✅ Tailor your CV (yes, even with zero experience)
✅ Write a short, honest cover letter
✅ Mention a protocol, DAO, or tool you’ve explored
Success = preparation + relevance + effort.
Track every message. Think in funnels.
100 DMs → 10 replies → 5 calls → 1-2 offer.
That’s not failure. That’s how it works.
And above all: don’t stop writing.
Read it all? Hope so — because tomorrow we’re dropping a quick quiz to test your brand-new Web3 smarts. 🩷
