Discipline Over Motivation: Why September Is the Perfect Reset
Vero, Talent Acquisition Specialist at BeInCrypto, shares why growth isn’t about chasing constant inspiration — it’s about building rituals and discipline that compound over time.
Here’s what she thinks:
September is symbolic — a natural reset. But here’s a truth I see again and again in career talks: motivation sparks ideas, but discipline makes them real ⭐️
Think about it:
▫️A person with motivation but no discipline achieves little.
▫️A person with motivation *and* discipline achieves everything.
▫️Even without big motivation, discipline alone can take you far.
That’s why growth isn’t about chasing constant inspiration — it’s about building rituals. In careers, this might look like sending one application a day, reviewing your KPIs weekly, or mapping out yearly goals step by step.
Personally, I anchor this mindset with small rituals: 1,500 steps on each dog walk, tracking my water daily. Tiny actions, but they build trust with myself — and that trust fuels bigger wins at work and in life.
➡️So here’s my invitation: let’s treat September as a challenge in self-discipline. Each of us is responsible for our own growth — but we can support each other along the way.
Pick one disciplined action you want to commit to this month.
Share it in the comments, and let’s hold each other accountable. We’ll cheer for your wins, you’ll cheer for ours — and by the end of September, we’ll see how much stronger we’ve all become together! 🚀
