Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park is home to the world’s largest annual wildlife migration. More than 1.5 million blue wildebeest and 250,000 zebras move across the plains, joined by smaller herds of Thomson’s gazelles and elands.
The park also supports Africa’s largest lion population, but faces growing pressure from deforestation, population growth and ranching.
