Elon Musk has reportedly directed nearly $300 million toward Republican and America First efforts ahead of the 2026 midterms, including $158 million to Texas GOP groups, with Ken Paxton among the beneficiaries. His America PAC has spent money in 40 races in recent months, while Musk accounted for nearly 58% of the Senate Leadership Fund’s fundraising last quarter. His spending is already surpassing his 2024 total, and his support in Texas has freed up Republican resources for races elsewhere.
