π΅π° β Pakistan Army deploys indigenous Advanced Infantry Mortar System (AIMS) during Operation "11 GARAJ" in Bajaur
Developed indigenously, the AIMS is a vehicle-mounted automated mortar system featuring a digital navigation and fire-control system for rapid target acquisition and precision engagement.
The system supports 81mm and 120mm mortar configurations, with the 120mm variant capable of engaging targets up to approximately 6.5 km.
It features shoot and scoot capability, allowing the platform to rapidly deploy, fire, and relocate to reduce vulnerability to counter fire. The system can be prepared for firing in under 40 seconds.
