⚡🇵🇰/🇮🇳 — Debunking the "F-16 Part" Myth — The AN/APN-232 Altimeter

— After months of "shooting down" imaginary AWACS and drones near Dinga, the latest fantasy is claiming a recovered part belonging to a Pakistani F-16. Let’s look at the facts before the embarrassment continues.

• First and foremost, the altimeter shown in the propaganda image does not match the ones used in the F-16 at all. The F-16 uses an AN/APN-232 Altimeter which looks like a long cuboid box with no ball bearings.

• Secondly, the dial and bezel of these altimeters are always built from plastic and in the case of an actual crash/destruction they almost certainly wouldn't survive. The surviving component would be the long cuboid metal containter which doesn't appears to resemble what we see.

• The inconsistency in the Indian side’s claims highlights an ongoing but unsuccessful campaign of disinformation.
