In 2025, occupying Indian forces killed 84 Kashmiri civilians, including three women and seven children. 11 women were widowed and 33 children were orphaned this year alone. Indian forces destroyed 41 properties, mostly residential homes, using explosives. A total of 7,488 Kashmiris including activists, youth, doctors, Islamic scholars, women, and journalists were arrested, with countless others booked under draconian black laws such as the Public Safety Act (PSA) and the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
