🇵🇰⚡ EOD PAIR — Render-Safe & Spectrum Control Team
— A classic IED-disposal pairing: an EOD technician in a full blast suit working the device, supported by a man-pack operator carrying a multi-whip SIGINT / DF & RF manpack (spectrum monitor, direction-finder and tactical jamming/relay unit) on his back.
🔹EOD tech (blast suit) — approaches under standoff procedures, uses visual/robotic tools and a disruptor to render or detonate the device safely; primary task is to protect civilians and recover evidence.
🔹Manpack operator — scans RF for triggering signals, performs direction-finding to locate remote controllers, provides local jamming/takeover to deny hostile C2, and acts as the team’s comms/C2 node and spectrum sensor.
🔹Tactics: cordon & isolate, robot forward-recon, soft-kill (jam/takeover) first, then render-safe by EOD; operator logs emitter bearings for forensic and tactical follow-up.
